a 12 week classroom based curse exploring all the fundamental skills needed to draw anything from observation, We will start with the basics, learning how to let go of old preconceptions about drawing and fears of the plank page. We will explore different techniques for constructing a drawing using basic shapes, then progress onto perspective, line quality, shading, tone and light. We will explore certain subjects in more detail such as portraiture and figurative drawing, and finally we will touch on colour and some basic techniques for integrating watercolour into our drawings. The classes will focus on new concepts and practices and each week i will offer prompts to develop these skills further in your own time.
